Our client is growing rapidly to meet demand for the next generation of its hugely successful AI solutions and are now looking for a talented Automation Test Analyst or Software Developer in Test to join in their successful team in Cambridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, cross-functional Scrum team with an innovative and forward thinking approach and be involved with the development of new systems and creating the next generation of their products. They are looking for someone who is not only capable of automating the software testing function for the team, but will also lead the QA process, challenging the team to improve quality at all stages of development. It’s a role where you really will make an impact and be able to see tangible results. Main areas of responsibility will include:

* Leading the design, development and implementation of software testing frameworks;

Qualifications & experience

Essential

* Excellent knowledge of Selenium and Java to automate tests
* Experience of UI testing would be extremely beneficial
* Good knowledge of MySQL and ability to query databases to validate the contents
* Experience of developing automated testing frameworks for Web applications & APIs intended to work across both mobile and desktop platforms
* Preparation of test plans from scratch and experience in ensuring they are carried through to completion
* Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development lifecycle
* Experience testing in an agile team, ideally Scrum
* Ability to work as the sole (dedicated) tester in a Scrum team
* Able to stay ahead of the curve with new and emerging technologies
* Experience with version-control systems (ideally GIT/Bitbucket)
* Computing, Engineering or Science Degree
